Regulatory Affairs

The Regulatory Affairs Division.

This division is responsible for activities in the technical area and can carry out a number of functions including:

Complying with the National Industrial Chemicals Notification Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) for importing chemicals into Australia.

Complying with the requirements of Australian State and Territory legislation and the guidelines of National Occupational Health and Safety Commission in the provision of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Complying with the requirements of Australian State and Territory legislation and the guidelines of National Occupational Health and Safety Commission in the provision of labels.

Complying with the requirements of Australian State and Territory legislation and the guidelines of National Health and Medical Research Council in meeting the stipulations of storage, handling and labelling of Poisons.

Complying with the requirements of Australian State and Territory legislation and the Australian Dangerous Goods Code in meeting the stipulations of storage, handling, labelling and delivery of Dangerous Goods.

Complying with the requirements of the New Zealand Environmental Risk Management Authority in meeting the stipulations of registering, storage, handling, labelling and delivery of Hazardous Substances.
